Students from the local Hebron elementary school celebrated the
Jewish holiday of Tu B’Shvat this week by planting seedlings and flowers in a new garden
in front of the Tomb of Machpela. The garden was dedicated in memory of Genadi Kaufman,
a local gardener who recently lost his life. Joining them was Pesach Pinchevsky, who
worked closely with Genadi in beautifying and tending the area.
