“Francophone Zionist Mobilization” Celebrates Hebron

Over 1,200 people participated in the annual Yom Hevron parade sponsored by
the Israel Is Forever organization, which assists immigrants from France. Waving flags
and singing Hebrew songs, the crowd passed in front of the Tomb of Machpela as they
marched through the Jewish neighborhoods of the Hebron.


 


The head of Israel is Forever Jacques Kupfer told LPH Info “we want to show
our support, not only in the words, but in the deeds.” Mr. Kupfer is also co-chair of
World Likud and a member of the Executive of the World Zionist Organization. Other
organizers included Nili Pitchon External Relations Manager at World Likud
who called the event “Francophone Zionist mobilization,” Nili Naouri and Yves
Hazout, both coordinators of Israel is Forever, Neria Meir of the Betar Zionist
Youth Movement, and the Shavei Hevron yeshiva.


 


The parade concluded with a performance by singer Itzik Dadya and violinist
Daniel Ahaviel. Elected official who participated included Culture Minister Miri Regev,
Member of Knesset Sharren Haskel, MK Betzalel Smotrich, and MK Shuli
Moalem-Refaeli.
