What once was considered obscure now attracts tens of thousands of
visitors. The annual Succot music festival will feature top name acts from Israel
and abroad. Among the sponsors will be the Israeli Ministry of Religious Affairs,
with the Egged national bus corporation offering increases service to the city. The
concert will be live streamed on Radio Kol BeRama. All this is a far cry from the days
when Hebron was considered a controversial issue. While the city of the Patriarchs &
Matriarchs still has a certain image, the across-the-board support has pushed it to
another level.
