Housing Minister Yitzhak Goldknopf Visits Hebron

Minister of Construction and Housing Yitzhak Goldknopf and his staff visited Hebron and Kiryat Arba on an official visit. “We will work to expand,” he stated.

In-depth discussions were held with local officials about building new neighborhoods, adding housing units, and accelerating real estate budgets.

The delegation visited the Tomb of the Patriarchs & Matriarchs (Cave of Machpela), burial site of the Biblical founding fathers and mothers, where they recited an emotional prayer for the return of the 59 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza.

Joining Housing Minister Goldknopf were Construction and Housing Ministry Director-General Yehuda Morgenstern, Director of the Israel Land Authority Yanki Quint, assistant and chief of staff to Minister of Construction and Housing Moti Babchik, manager of the Jerusalem district of the ministry Gadi Mark, supervisor of Abandoned and Governmental Property in Judea and Samaria Yossi Segal, and other staff and management.

Israel Bramson, head of the Kiryat Arba community council stated, “together with the Ministry of Construction and Housing we are working to expand and build new neighborhoods that will meet the growing needs of the residents. Today’s important visit marks our continued collaboration hand-in-hand with the Ministry. I am sure every effort is being made to help increase expansion in the City of Ancestors.”
