A study evening in memory of Prof. Ben Zion Tavger on the 40th anniversary of
his passing.

Prof. Ben Zion Tavger (1930 – 1983) was a physicist and advocate for the
repatriation of the Jewish community in Hebron. He initiated the rebuilding of the
Avraham Avinu synagogue and the excavation of the ancient Jewish cemetery. He published
numerous papers on crystallography. For full biography click
