A new house was purchased in Hebron by the Harhivi Makom Ohalech organization. It is located close to the Maarat HaMachpela (Tomb of the Patriarchs & Matriarchs). It is called Maale Doron, named after the late lawyer Doron Nir Zvi who worked with the Harhivi organization, Honenu, and other groups that promote the repatriation of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. Nir Zvi recently passed away after a battle with cancer.
“Doron Nir Zvi led the cause of redeeming houses in the city of Hebron for years in the face of legal and political challenges,” Harhivi stated. “Thanks to his courageous and determined struggle, he succeeded in expanding the borders of Hebron, while preserving the rights of the Jewish settlement in the city.”
The group added that as the Jewish new year approaches they celebrate “the return of our children to the city of their ancestors.”
