EMET director Sarah Stern stated they were “proud to host
Yishai Fleisher, an international spokesman for the Jewish community of Hebron, a city
with a rich historical Jewish past and which is home to many holy sites, most notably,
the Cave of the Patriarchs. Yishai Fleisher will share the legal, historical, and moral
narrative for the Jewish communities of Judea and Samaria. His unique on-the-ground
perspective gives a rare glimpse into the day to day lives of the Jews living there. Mr.
Fleisher also discussed topics concerning current concepts in Israeli Law intended to
address issues of land ownership, housing rights, voting rights, and
citizenship.”
